While I am not a hunter (I much prefer having my kids chase the chickens around the yard, and then dispatching the one they catch for our dinner to tromping around cold and wet in the woods for hours), my husband is a hunter.
He also likes to cook up what he hunts, however he is not a cook. His idea of a wild game dinner is throwing a few pieces of backstrap in a cast iron skillet with some mushrooms and veggies and calling it good. Not to say that this isn’t a square meal (and delicious), sometimes I want a little variety in my dinner menu.
So I reached out to my fellow bloggers for their favorite wild game meat recipes, and as always I was not disappointed.
Here are the top wild game meat recipes. Hopefully you’ll be able to find a few you want to try!
