Hey there moms! Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, and every year I’m always on the lookout for new and original activities for my kids. It’s especially important to me this year, because this year I am participating in a local co-op, and so I have to bring activity ideas to the table that will keep a large group of kids busy for a few hours.
Talk about pressure.
So this year, I reached out to my fellow mom bloggers, and asked them to send me their top Valentine’s Day activities for elementary school age kids, and these are the activities they sent me. I hope you will find some inspiration in this activities, because I definitely have!
Valentine’s Day Bingo Sheet
These free Valentine’s Day bingo sheets are super adorable! I think these will be a huge hit this year at our co-op, and they would also be great for a classroom of kids.
If you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day activity for your elementary school age kiddos, you can’t go wrong with these.

Valentine’s Day Sensory Bin
This Valentine’s Day activity is great for the younger kiddos in your classroom or homeschool.
My youngest absolutely loves sensory bins, and so I’m excited to try this one out during our Valentine’s Day party this year.
Valentine’s Day Color By Numbers Worksheets
My son has finally decided that he likes color by numbers worksheets (this has been a long time coming, trust me), and so when I saw these free printable worksheets, I knew I had to include these in our list of Valentine’s Day activities this year.
Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt
This is a super fun Valentine’s Day activity that I am really excited to try in our co-op this year. This activity would be great for slightly older elementary school kids, and you can hide a super fun present at the end!
Valentine’s Day Play Dough
No Valentine’s Day activity post would be complete without a play dough recipe!
It is my firm belief that every kid on planet Earth loves play dough. I have yet to meet an exception.
So, of course, I had to include this recipe for Valentine’s Day play dough.
Valentine’s Day Mad Libs
I used to love mad libs as a kid. Remember those mad libs books you could buy?
Yeah, I would spend hours creating funny mad libs to read to my friends.
While my kids aren’t quite old enough yet to enjoy these, they are perfect for older elementary school kids to enjoy during their Valentine’s Day party.
So if you have older kiddos and are looking for a fun Valentine’s Day activity, go print these out.
Valentine’s Day Coloring Pages
These Valentine’s Day coloring pages are a great activity for kids of all ages.
My youngest has finally decided that using markers to actually color the pages is way more fun than actually eating said markers, so I have been printing out coloring pages like a mad woman.
If your kids are as into coloring as mine are, head on over and print out these free Valentine’s Day coloring pages.
Valentine’s Day Escape Room
While this Valentine’s Day activity isn’t free, I wanted to include it because it looks to be so much fun!!!!
It’s geared toward slightly older kids (or adults!), and I cannot wait to try this out in our homeschool co-op this year for our Valentine’s Day party.

Valentine’s Day Word Search Worksheet
Here is another worksheet that would be a fun addition to your Valentine’s Day activity repertoire.
This activity has two different versions so it is great for kids both big and small.
Valentine’s Day Pin the Arrow on the Heart Game
This Valentine’s Day game is reminiscent of pin the tail on the donkey, but Valentine’s Day style!
This game would be fun with kids of any age, so head on over and grab the instructions.
BONUS: Free Valentine’s Day Unit Study
